Are all of your products in stock? |
|
Normally yes they are in stock as can be seen in the product details. Occasionally there may be a period of unavailability which would be due to some part required in a new batch of the product being on a long lead time. |

How do I work out which tester is for me? |
|
Ideally list all the connectors on your cables and find which tester will accommodate all of them.
Or by counting all the pins in your largest cable will enable you to quickly narrow down which testers can cope with it.
Any cable with more than 9 pins on each end can not be tested on any of the testers with two rows of LEDs e.g. AudioJoG Pro 3.5,8 or AudioJoG Rack 8. Ordinary flat ,or ribbon, is best tested on the RibbonJoG tester. Socapex cables need to be tested on the AuidioJoG Rack 19's. Finally cables with connectors larger than the Socapex 19 pin can be tested using the CableJoG range 128,256 & 512 of testers with suitable adapters or even custom made adapters. |

How does the MEMORY work in the RibbonJoG mkII tester? |
|
The MEMORY option only works with non standard cables. If you are testing a standard ribbon cable the tester will automatically stop at the end of the cable and the PASS LED will be on.
If you want to test a non-standard cable then plug it in and press the TEST button. The test will naturally fail as the cable will not be reconised as a standard cable. Press and hold the test button until the MEMORY LED comes on. After this the cable will be automatically tested against whats held in MEMORY. |
|
How does the MEMORY work on the AudioJoG testers? |
|
The MEMORY feature works the same in all the AudioJoG cable testers Pro3,5,8 and Rack 8.
With a known good cable plugged in, step through the connections as normal. When the test reaches the last LED, usually the Remotes Shield, press and hold the test button until the MEMORY LED comes on. After this the cable will be automatically tested against whats held in MEMORY. |
